Fun in the Sun Hosts Parent Education Classes
Fun in the Sun (FITS) strives to
change the lives of participants and their families. Every summer, each
FITS site hosts a variety of Parent Education Classes, designed to
improve different aspects of the family dynamic. On July 8, 2010, Oscar Flores of the Santa Barbara Public Library, presented to FITS
La Cumbre Jr. High parents the importance of library resources and
reading with your children. Parents had the opportunity to sign-up for a
library card at the presentation and ask questions.
