As you may be aware, our entire organization has been going through a strategic planning process. As part of this process, United Way’s Board of Directors has extended the grant allocations made by Volunteer Review for the funding cycle through 2008-09 in order to focus on strategic planning. Due to this extension, Volunteer Review was not convened for 2009. During this time, United Way’s Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff are reviewing our fund investment strategies and community impact processes to ensure their alignment with our new mission and vision for the community.
